Directions: You will visit a website with some sample items
for the ACCESS for ELL’s test. Some of them are very easy, and some of them are
more difficult. The purpose is to get accustomed to how the test works.
- Go to the website:
- Click on “View Sample
Items”
- Click on “Grades 6-8”
- Click on “Listening Sample
Item Tier C”
- Record your answers on an
index card.
When you’ve finished the test, click “back”
- Click on “Grades 9-12”
- Click on “Reading Sample
Item Tier A”
- Record your answers on an
index card.
When you’ve finished the test, click “back”
- Click on “Grades 9-12”
- Click on “Speaking Sample
Item Tier A”
When you’ve finished the test, click “back”
- Click on “Grades 6-8”
- Click on “Writing Sample
Item Tier B / C”
VERY IMPORTANT!!! Do
NOT click “Next” when you finish your writing. It will disappear if you do.
