Period 3 Homework

Please complete your vocabulary predict and verify worksheet.

Check the text and / or a dictionary to find the definitions of the vocabulary words.
Then complete the third column of your chart.

If your definitions were correct, you can put a check.
If they need some more detail, write it.

Period 8 - "Crickets" Reading Comprehension questions

Please answer these questions. You don't have to copy the questions, but please answer them in complete sentences.

Who are the two main characters of the story?
What is the setting of the story?
Briefly describe the conflict in the story? (i.e. - what does Ted/Thieu want? What does Bill want?)
Is the conflict resolved? Why or why not? (your answer should start with, "The conflict is resolved because..." or "The conflict is not resolved because...")
